MID-HEAVEN was born in love and with the desire to create a space for art pushed to the sidelines of pop culture and falls in between what’s trendy and niche. We embrace the ordinary, the ethereal, the ultimately insane, the melodramatic, magical, theatrical art that weird and sad girls create.

TAMIRA SLADE is a Music Producer from Baltimore, MD. She comes from several generations of painters & singers. With that, she still considers Timbaland the person who introduced her to making music. From an early age, Tamira could be seen either drawing portraits or making beats on the family computer. Her musical influences are Timbaland, PartyNextDoor, Lauryn Hill, DeVonte Swing, and Mary J. Blige. After being diagnosed with Autism at the age of 17, Tamira continues to find solace in expressing herself through music in hopes to inspire and build a platform for other neurodivergent Black girls whose voices would otherwise be unheard. “I’m happy to be an inspiration for the next little black girl, no matter how big or small of a role I play, just to show them it’s possible to touch Saturn’s Rings”-TAMIRA, THE GREAT
