Power of Three

They hashtag magic. Use lipstick as a trending topic. Weave organic reach out of filters. But that’s part of the intrigue. They are beings of myth. Girls. White teeth. Sharp. Blades. Angels. Feathers. Witches. Moonlight. Magic. They howl. Sisters of fate. Control and manipulate and meld. In this incarnation, they are millennial. They are eternal. They tweet as sirens, @ing you into their story. Stories. Individual–powerful. Together –enviable. Uncontainable or unexplainable. Their eyes are glassy. Milky seers. They choke expectations, wrapping them up in taffeta skirts. Heels stab in tandem. Crescendos echo the laughter of their hearts. They pour themselves into each other. They become one. And none. They become every single one of us. They spin out thread and snip it, letting it fall behind them in the dark web. And they grow.
