Girlhood

“In “GIRLHOOD” I wanted to explore the vivid moments and memories from my girlhood by analyzing how coming-of-age films have influenced my youth. I wanted to photograph moments that resemble totems of youth or even moments I have experienced myself, and through this, recreating compositions from my favorite coming-of-age films, I was able to show how my personal experiences were different or lonelier than these media portrayed moments.”
